OUR PEPPER
HARVEST
Harvesting season begins in February and lasts till May.
Rosemoric peppercorns are
harvested carefully by hands.
SEPARATE
After the harvest, peppercorn is dried under the sun to preserve its hard features to prevent breakage during the later process. Once dried, the peppercorn cherries are picked from its vines and later separated based on sizes.
WASH
The peppercorns are then washed with clean, room temperature water to remove all dirt and other micro-organisms on its surface. This process is repeated until the peppercorns
are clean.
BLANCH
The peppercorns are then soaked in boiling water for enzymic browning, and the removal of harmful bacteria from the pepper shell.
DRY
After the blanching process, the peppercorn is dried under the sun in an enclosed space.
QUALITY CONTROL
Once dried, the peppercorns are
scrutinized based on moisture content and size. Only the top quality and best size are selected for packaging.
PACK
After going through quality check, the peppercorn is ready to be packed into a vacuum sealed poly-nylon to preserve the quality, taste, color and aroma of the pepper before the final packaging.
STORE
All peppercorns should be kept dried, at room temperature, and with sufficient ventilation.
